The pedestal form has become one of our standards, taking on a variety of shapes and period styles, depending on the client and the wood and color choice. We are currently working on two new variations as I write this, one, a 54" round classic walnut and tooled leather poker table, and the other a 64" walnut expanding round custom dining table for a 15' diameter round room in a New Jersey beach house. This particular table features some spectacular curly cherry and an expanding central burl inlay with a five piece border of ebony, burl, ebony, end gain fir, and ebony again. Edge inlay of bubinga, maple and ebony. Lots and lots of pieces.
