This modern ground steel and glass desk was created to fill a space in my office in front of a pair of windows. I needed the storage, but wanted to keep the light. At the time we were also working on the other piece on this page with the redwood scroll. They were sort of prototypes for each other, this one without the wood. I got an unexpected bonus as at certain times of the year, the sun shines in the window, onto the glass and reflects onto the ceiling creating a kind of unexpected skylight effect. Prices in stainless and 3/4" glass, not the recycled 1/2 you see here.
