I created this sculpture for this year's Open Studio Weekend back in May. I sold a smaller version designed for a bedroom, #2, that weekend, and now I have entered the original in a design contest and moved it inside. It's an interesting piece. The wall brackets are hinged, allowing the three elements to be swiveled on the wall, creating different shadow patterns, which are as much a part of the sculpture as the elements themselves.
