My client found this wood and purchased it independently and then had me make a desk out of it. It is in a heavily windowed, big view location, so the top had to be uncluttered of printers and chargers and files, etc; The house was a classic piece of famous architect modern house so it couldn't be a traditional design. This is what we came up with and it seems to all work very well together.
