I have made this form in several different woods, and each wood choice effects the feeling of the period of the piece. This one went in a room with a fairly contemporary feeling. It's figured cherry with ebony borders and a burl and bar inlay in the edge of the top. Hand carved and painted pulls which we can now offer in cast bronze.
